I am a Franco-American, self-proclaimed nerd based in San Francisco. The daughter of a French woman and a Marine, I’m full of cowboy crass and dry wit. I grew up moving every 4-5 years on average (the record is 3 states in 3 years), spending every summer in Europe. This bizarre upbringing is how I first became enamored with stories. They’re the best way to build a bridge between seemingly disparate subjects, cultures, and people.
I love to travel and sample baked goods from around the world. I’m bilingual and strike up conversations with strangers.
I have my frickin’ master’s in mythology.
I turned my dining room into a library. Yeah, I’m that girl.
Don’t take life too seriously.
You will never get out of it alive.
What I Do
Storytelling
As a voracious consumer of all types of stories (novels, comic books, TV, film, podcasts, games, etc.), I know a great story when I see one. Coupling that with my academic training, I’ve developed the skill to employ archetypes in crafting resonating stories.
And that is why I need to subscribe to all the streaming services.
Brand Strategy
I apply my expertise in mythology to branding by helping brands find their voices. I take what they already have (through thorough research) and connect it with consumer needs and relevant cultural trends (through ethnographic research).
As an archetype expert, I root my clients in timeless narratives that don’t feel forced or exploitative. If you catch me watching YouTube videos, it’s for RESEARCH!
Facilitation
In addition to presenting in front of C-suite clients, I adore facilitating workshops. From designing exercises to organizing post-it notes, I pay attention to the details to ensure we’re asking the right questions to get the right answers.
As an extrovert, I feed off the energy of others. As a bookworm, I can empathize with the quiet ones. In a group setting, I am the amplifier that keeps the good vibes going.
Hit Me Up
I’m now available for freelance strategy! If you’re looking for a multi-faceted storyteller, empathetic researcher, and overall good hang — shoot me an email.
Current Hobbies
The Celestial Library
Ever out by Ocean Beach on a Saturday? Stop by The Celestial Library where I lend out books to people while chilling in my driveway.
Crafting
Besides pottery and puzzling, I was bit by the furniture renovation bug and did a bunch of our furniture. Full project here.
Gardening
Living in the Outer Richmond, sunshine is in short supply. But my indoor plants are thriving.
